And as we are always reminded, (our children) are watching, watching, watching us. So if we 'lose our cool' they will learn it's okay to lose theirs. If we say "have self control" and yet we possess none or very little, then they will too.
Hope this helps. You are in the discipline phase of parenting. Hang in there. Can't remember where I read it but in one book I read they say "what you have at 4 you will have at 14, if you don't work on things".
